Death of a Victorian Gentleman
London, 1863:
A gentleman. A pickpocket. An unlikely alliance.
When a chance encounter brings together two men from opposite worlds, mistrust and resentment run deep. Lloyd Webster, the privileged son of a baronet, is an idealist who values his reputation. Ezra Taylor, a streetwise pickpocket, knows only how to fight for survival. But when they are falsely accused of a crime, the two must learn to rely on one another in ways neither could have anticipated.
Their search for the truth uncovers a scandal that threatens to shake the very foundations of Victorian society.
With danger looming, they not only have to overcome their differences but also confront their pasts—and secrets they would prefer to keep hidden.
