I've never promoted anything before.
I've never promoted anything before.

I'm terrible at advertising. But turns out that as an indie author, it's all about self-promoting, not only your book, but also yourself. I'm trying to do everything right, though I'm a newbie to social media apps like TikTok. I have no clue what I'm doing. Everyone wants to give you advice, sound advice, but if I were to follow each one, promoting would turn into a full-time job. As a self-employed individual working a 60-hour week, I don't have time to create a promotional plan or

prepare posts and reels every day. So what do I do? I drop book teasers, quotes, character sketches, and blurbs, and hope for the best.

Honestly, I just hope to find some readers who will enjoy my book. I'm not expecting high sales numbers or to suddenly become a full-time author overnight. All I want is to share my story, my world and my characters. I want the reader to fall in love with the protagonists, to feel their sorrow and pain, to care what happens to them, and to rejoice when they succeed.

The world I created over a decade ago will soon come to life... Do you want to peek inside it?
